A ball screw assembly needs its bearing support and end machining to match. SBC’s support-unit literature separates fixed-end and floated-end references across BK, FK, EK, AK and their matching support-side families. Confirm the shaft end detail, bearing position and housing space before selecting by the short series code.

If you already have a screw drawing, send the end diameters, shoulder positions and mounting face. For a replacement unit, a clear photograph of the existing mark and housing often helps identify the format. The support unit is quoted alongside the screw when the mating dimensions are known; we do not infer the required support from screw diameter alone.
